Conversation Ice Breakers
Talking to and meeting new girls can sometimes be frustrating, which is why you need to know about all of the different ice breakers when it comes to starting a conversation and getting your foot in the door. If you go to the same school or are in the same class as one of the girls you like, then it might be a good idea to open with something about a current assignment. You can even ask if she wants to work on it with you. If you don’t want to ask her on a date right away, then a “study session” might be a good idea. Set it up somewhere like a library or in the school so she doesn’t think you’re trying to move too fast.
Another great ice breaker involves complimenting what a girl is wearing or how she looks. This can mean her hair, shoes, or overall outfit. When you compliment how a girl looks, she knows that you care and are observant. Girls dress up for a reason, which is to get noticed by guys. When you walk up to a girl and say something to the effect of “Hey, those earrings looks really nice on you”, she will no doubt be flattered and the conversation will flow naturally from there.
One important thing to know about starting a conversation is that whatever ice breaker you choose, it should move forward the conversation. This means that whatever you say, there should always be somewhere else for the conversations to go. When you take this into consideration you won’t end up in one of these awkward silent moments. If you are in a café or restaurant and see a good-looking girl sitting alone, a good idea might be to go up to her and ask if she wouldn’t mind you join her. Chances are she wants some company and you might just be the guy she’s looking for.
